Not sure what happened here...
Workspace Unavailable. Workspace in use or cannot be created, choose a different one.
Make sure you don't have any Eclipse or Eclipse VM running. If so, exit from them or kill their processes.
If you're sure there's NO Eclipse and Eclipse VM running, attempt to delete the LOCK file under <your workspace>/.metadata/.lock

tried it but i get a error message saying file already in use by another person or program.

Probably an easier way, but restarting my machine and deleting the lock file BEFORE starting Eclipse works.
